# What is SkillTrait?

SkillTrait provides companies with a simple and affordable way to recognize employee success by awarding branded, digital achievements to employees.

Our free version allows users to verify their business email to access templates from our community of users. This verification process provides a record that you worked for a company, and the company achievements that you receive can be linked to your resume to validate key successes you achieved in your position. 

Individuals can request an achievement from their manager to document key milestones and successes. With the prevalence of AI "tailored" resumes, applicants can include a link to the achievement they received from a company or educational institution.

#### Verify your work email to send branded achievements

If you work at a company, make sure to verifying your employment on SkillTrait- it is simple and free. Once verification is complete, you can access company branded achivements associated with your verified company.

* Click the "+" icon in the nav bar
* Click verify your business email 
* Send a link to your business email to confirm employment
